BASIC SEATED LEG PRESS

 

This is our basic leg press model.  It is equipped with an adjustable back pad that will allow users of various body sizes to use the machine.  Standard working weight of this model is 400lbs.  Our customers can request various alternative working weight and increments.

PRONE LEG PRESS

 

The prone leg press has been a popular items for many of our clients, either as a free standing unit or as part of our multi gym designs. 

 

This model is fitted with adjustable shoulder pads that allow users of various sizes to use the machine.

 

Custom weight stack size and increments can be determined at the time of purchase.

SWING LEG PRESS

Our swing leg press design has become our number one selling selectorized leg press.  The nature of the motion allow for a unique variable resistance capability specific to this machine.  As with our other designs, our target muscle groups are the upper hamstrings and buttocks.  The start position is "knees at the user's chest".  The chosen working weight for exercise is determined by the lifting capacity of these two muscles groups.  In the initial stages of the press, this working weight will be sufficient to tax the target groups.  As extension continues, the knee joint begins to extend and the quadriceps contribute more and more to the effort.  At about this point the arc of the swing becomes more vertical adding more and more of the users body weight to the movement.  The extra muscle mass of the quads is compensated by this extra working weight.

The two designs illustrated above are common on both our free standing options and those leg press units incorporated into may of our multi-gyms also.  The new adjustable angle back rest allow the user to better select the angle of the torso that best isolates the desired muscle mass.
