Both machines above are equipped with adjustable seats and back pads.  Where lever arms are heavy, as with the pull over, counter weights are introduced to off set this weight.

BILATERAL SEATED BENCH       CHEST SUPPORTED LEVERED ROW

The Seated Bench press illustrated above is equipped with "floating" lever arms.  These floating lever arm require the user to stabilize the angle of extension in the horizontal plane.  This requirement necessitates the involvement of many of the stabilizing muscles of the shoulder joint and shoulder girdle.  In doing so, the training effect better approaches that of free weights.  These same lever arms allow the user to push up and foreword resulting in an incline chest press.  The unit is equipped with and adjustable seat which assist the user to determine the correct body position required to achieve the desired angle of extension.  An adjustable back rest allows for the desired pre-stretch.

The Bilateral Chest Supported Row is equipped with an adjustable seat, chest pad, and lever arms.  The adjustable seat and lever arms assist the user in isolation of the desired angle of pull.  The adjustable chest pad can be used to determine the desired pre-stretch.

SUPINE BILATERAL BENCH PRESS                      WALL MOUNTED EQUIVALENT

The Standard Supine Bilateral Bench press can be modified by placing an adjustable handle bar assembly one the unit.  This assembly is similar to that employed on our Seven Stack Multi-gym.  When combined with an adjustable flat/incline/military/decline bench, the resulting machine becomes a free standing multi-press station.

The same holds true for the wall mounted unit.  This unit employs linear bearing which allow the lever arms to travel vertically up the solid steel guide rods.  Where tight quarters exist, this wall mounted system has proven invaluable.  The US Armed Forces has purchased many of these.  The unit has a an adjustable handle bar assembly that is detachable. This feature allows the user to remove the adjustable bench press handles and replace the with: leg press assembly, squat assembly, etc.
