….the foot plate for the leg press is attached to an adjustable assembly that allow the plate to lay flat during the hack squat and adjust into the foot plate position for the leg press function.  Simply pulling a pop pin release the leg press foot plate assembly allowing it to adjust into place.

….at the same time, the back pad used for the hack squat automatically pivoted out of its position and secured out of the way as the leg press foot plate is pivoted into position.  This allows the  exposure of  the full surface of the foot plate necessary for the leg press function

….there are two pads that make up the seat and back rest for the leg press function.  These pads are also capable of pivoting in and out of position as required.
